CAR RUNS INTO BANK.

INJURY TO PASSENGER [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPCITIKI, Thursday. A private touring motor-car, which was being driven to Gisborne to-day, containing three men and two ladies, on rounding a corner near Kutarere ran into a bank. Tho mudguards and running board were much damaged and the front bumper was broken. One of tho ladies in the car received a severe cut on her forehead, and one of her thumbs was broken. She received medical attention on arrival at Opotiki. The other passengers suffered from shock and bruise*.
