ACCIDENT CASES.
MAN STRUCK BY LORRY.
SEVERE INJURIES SUSTAINED.
Severe injuries to the head and abrasions to tho face were sustained by Mr., H. A. O'Gara, of 50, Napier Street, who was knocked down by a motor-lorry in Franklin Road shortly after 7 o'clock last evening. The injured man was conveyed to tins hospital by motor-ear. His condition later W|ts stated to be serious>Mr. O'Gara is married, aged 49. Inquiry at th« hospital last evening showed the condition of Mr. E. Farmer, who was struck by a falling case on Wednesday, is still regarded as serious, although there has been a slight improvement. There is no change in the condition of Mr. A. Carter, who sustained severe injuries to the head and a fracture of the shoulder-blade, when his cycle collided with a motor-truck. Mr. Maurice Lynch, who was thrown from a cart and received injuries to tho head, is still in a serious condition. Tho condition of Mr. 11. Thomas, who was knocked off his cycle and sustained injuries to the head and a fracture o£ tho thigh, is also still regarded as fairly serious.
