Bst. 131b., knocked out Dicky Vercoe. Blenheim, 9st., this evening, at the end of the sixth round of a scheduled 10-round professional bout. Vercoe was on tho defence all through, and \va3 too slow for his clever opponent, lie adopted the crouch, and when he did open out he missed badly against Leckie's clever footwork. Tho champion won every round, and in the sixth round knocked Vercoe out with a short right hook to the point.

INTENTIONS OF McINNES. The Scottish middle-weight, Tommy McInnes, who has performed so impressively in tho local ring since being brought from Australia by tho Northern Boxing Association, intends to proceed to America. The hard-hitting Scot is popular with boxing enthusiasts in Auckland, and it is anticipated ho will obtain several more matches, both in Auckland and in other parts of New Zealand, before sailing. Monson, the Australian champion, who will oppose Mclnnes next Monday night in tho Town Hull in a return match, is determined to gain tho decision, and the fight should he marked by hard hitting exchanges. Amateur preliminary bouts will precede the big contest.
