TAUMARUNUI GUN CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAUMARUNUI. Thursday. Tho King Country Gun Club's monthly shoot, at Kaitieke was well attended. Tlio events met with keen competition, and some very good shooting was witnessed, notwithstanding that nt tho commencement of (he day vision was bad. Results were as follows : Sherlaw Cnp and Modal, 10 birds.—G. Bretherton, 7; F. McFudyen and G. Geary, equal, G. Sweepstake, (i birds.—G. Geary and P. McFadjren, equal, 5; G. Bretherton, 'l. Six-bird Sweepstake.—G. Bretherton, 5; H'. Goge and T. Ketu, 4. Six-bird Sweepstake.—A. Davies and T. Ketu, 1; F. McKay, !J. Sweepstake. -1 birds.—F. Southee, possiblo, 1; T, Ketu, 3.
