WEDDINGS.
The wedding was solemnised by the Rev. J. R. Anderson, at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Te Puke, on Wednesday, October 3, of Eva May, elder daughtei of Mr. and Mrs. J. lieerdegen, of To Puke, and Mr. James Provo Millar, elder son of Mrs. and Mrs. J. P. Millar, of New Plymouth. Tho bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was frocked in coral pink georgette, the bodice being of embossed chenille, and the skirt made with swathing effect and uneven hem tine, edged with silver The hat, to tone, was trimmed on one side with a spray of pink sweet peas. A shower bouquet of flowers and maidenhair fern was carried. The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy lieerdegen, sistei ot the hrido, wore a powder blue crepe de chine frock with a tight-fitting bodice and full skirt trimmed with rosebuds. A lemon crinolino bat with a spray of palo pink and blue flowers, was also worn, and she carried a bouquet of lemon daisies and blue hyacinths. Mr. A. Millar, of Groymonth. was hest man. Tho bride's mother wore a frock of navy blue silk marocain with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of golden flowers. Miss Bell Millar, sistei of tho bridegroom, was in a rose-coloured frock with hat to tone.
A wedding of interest in the Waikato was celebrated at tho Cathedral, Hamilton. on Wednesday, when Hilda Iris, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Roach, of Whatawhata, was married to Seymour Graham Rawhiti, only son of Dr. A. S. Brewis, ol .Tesmond Dene, River Road. Archdeacon Cowio officiated at the coremonv. Tho bride, who was given away by her ■ father, wore a French frock of crystal beaded georgotto with touches of silver, and carried a shower bouquet in tones of pink. Miss Dorothy Clegg and Miss Vida Sanders attended hor as bridesmaids, wearing period frocks of primrose georgette, fashioned with deep lace berthas. Primioso picturo hats were also worn, and each carried a posy of primroses. Tho bridegroom \vas attended by Mr. Phillip TiHlis, of Wellington, as best man, and Mr. Hugh Thomson, of Auckland, as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Opoia Koad. Tho "big living room overlooking tho river was arranged with masses of golden brown Iceland poppies, spring blossom and maidenhair fern. Mrs. Roach received the guests in a light spring suit and fox fur. Mrs. Brewis wore a frock of fawn and pink georgette with hat to match*
