PARKS FOR AIRPLANES.
CONSTRUCTION NEAR LONDON LARGE SCHEME PROPOSED. Australian and X.Z. Press Association. LONDON*. Oct, 9. The construction has been commenced of the first great civil airplane park on the outskirts of London, near Hounslow. It will be the first of a chain of parks that will encircle London to meet the demands of owner-pilots. They will have all the facilities that are generally provided for motorists, namely, lock-up garages workshops, filling stations, and a club-house. Tho parks will, be available for the small piano of the business man and the great air liners. The organisers are confident that in a few years hotels will be necessary at each park to accommodate the fliers.
