CANADIAN TOWNS ROBBED.
JOINT PATROL ON BORDER. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. VANCOUVER. Oct. 9. A message from Rogina, Saskatchewan, says that in co-operation with United States forces members of the Canadian Mounted Police, who were heavily armed, began to-day to patrol tho international border of the Prairie Provinces, with a view to ending raids by American bandits on the Canadian side. Six towns were recently raided and banks and post' offices robbed of many thousands of pounds. The patrol is necessary as tho small communities carry large sums of money during the record grain movement.
