TAILORESSES' STRIKE.
INSCRIPTION ON BANNERS. NOVEL USE FOR LIP-STICKS. (Received October 10, 11.15 p.m.) Urited Service. LONDON, Oct. 10. Seven hundred taiioressos are on strike at Edmonton, near London, owing to their employers' refusal to discharge a non-unionist. The strikers to-day marched four abreast to tho factory gates. They carried a banner on which was an announcement of their adherence to trades union principles. This inscription was written in red letters a. foot long with the. women's lipsticks.
