WEEKLY WESTFIELD SALE. BEEF RATES LITTLE EASIER. HEAVY YARDING OF SHEEP. Heavy yardiugs of rattle and sheep at the weekly Wcstfield sale yesterday caused a slight easing of values, but the market remained eac.tr. Sheep, too, were offered in numbers above the average. There were quite a few shorn lots, including several good lines of ewes. Competition was active, but was liberally fed and values eased slightly. Spring lambs, came forward in larger numbers, but in the main sold readily at late rates. Values for calves again firmed, although there was a very substantial offering. Pigs of all descriptions sold well.
