NEW BRITISH AUXILIARY.
Ono of the most prominent of Britishbuilt auxiliary yachts constructed this year litis ju.st been launched from British yards. The craft is an auxiliary schooner, measuring 131 ft. in length and 24ft. in breadth, having been constructed for Lord Glentanrier, the Commodore of the Royal Largs Yacht. Club, Scotland. The boat is powered by a British marine engine developing 144 h.p., and will be Bermuda l'igged for sailing purposes. British materials have been utilised wherever possible, and a, largo amount of tlio timber for the interior has been procured from I own forest. The Elk.
