WORKER'S LEG FRACTURED.
TREE ROOT SLIPS SUDDENLY. [bv telegraph.—own correspondent.] TE AROHA, Monday. The sudden slipping of an enormous tree root at Wairongomai on Saturday resulted in Mr. L. Bruce's right leg being fractured in two places. A fellow worker, Mr. J. Milne, managed, to escape injury. Mr. Bruce was conveyed to the Waikato Hospital, for treatment.
