The Newmarket Borough Council hereby gives notice in pursuance of the provisions of Section 10 of the above-mentioned Act: (1) That the purposes for which the Loan is required are:— (a> 'lc meet proportion of cos oi constructing t branch sewer No. 3C, payable to Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board £4,150 (b) The provision of subsidiary storm-water sewers and necessary branches thoreto 6,750 (c) Engineering and contingencies 600 (2) That tho Newmarket Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of ordinary revenues proposeb to borrow a sum not exceeding £11,500. (3) That the proposed security for tho said Loan shall be a Special Rate of Threepence (3d) in tho £ on tho annual value of nil the ratable property in the Borough ot Newmarket. (4) That the Newmarket Borough Council proposes to mako such loan repayable with a period of thirty (30) years, and to make provision for a sinking fund of not less than one and one-half (1J) per centum per annum. (!>) That the Newmarket Borough Council proposes t< pay out of such loan' such costs, charges and expenses as the Newmarket Borough Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with audi loan, but not tho interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year Dated this 18th day of September. 1928.
