CHURCH AT WAIKINO.

CONSECRATION OF GROUND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COItKESrONRENT. 1 WAI'HI. Monday. The ground for tho Church of England at. Waikino was consecrated on Saturday by Rev. E. M, Cowie, Archdeacon of Waikato, in the: presence of a representative gathering. After the service those present adjourned to the Victoria Hall for afternoon tea, during which addresses were given by/ Archdeacon Cowie, Canon E. S. Wayne, vicar of St. John's Church. Waihi, and Mr. J. H. G. Banks, of Waikino. It is expected that tho church, which is being moved from Waitekauri, will bc> re-erected by the end of November, and from then on regular services jvill bti held.
