An amazing story of a doomed man s gamble with life has been revealed Dr. Sniker, of the Latvian Leprosy Institute, iias obtained the consent of the authorities to experiment in inoculation upon a criminal named KirsLain, who at present is under eentonce of death. Dr. Sniker contends that leprosy is not contagions and can be cured. Ho will inject matter from a living loper into KirBtoin's body. The man has consented to tlio experiment under a promiso tlnat his aentonco will be remitted, though ho will lmve to remain in gaol.
