The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated October 5, prices for last week being given in parentheses : Butter.—New Zealand: Salted, 178s to 184s, exceptionally, ls6s (180s io 186s); unsalted, 186s to 196s (186s to 1965); first grade whey, 164s (1665); second grade whey, 160s (1625). Deliveries of New Zealand this week, 555 tons. In stoic, 3700 tons. Australian: Finest salted, ,166s to 172s (168s to 1745). Argentine: Finest unsalted. 176s to 180s, exceptionally, 182s (176s to 182s). Irish creamery: Salted, 174s to 176s (176s to 178s); unsalted, 178s to 180s (184s). Danish: Spot, 195s to 1965, up to 193s (195s to 1965); f.0.b., 190s to 191s (ICOs to 191s). Dutch: Unsalted, 188s to 192s (192s to 1945). Siberian: 160s to 162s (160s to 1625). The Taranaki finished discharge of butter on September 28, and the Rotorua finished discharge of butter on October 2. The To Koa commenced to discharge butter on October 4. The estimated stocks of all butters in Great Biitain at October 1 were 10,360 tons, compared with 14,760 tons last year. The estimated stocks oi' cheese at London, Liverpool and Bristol at October 1 were: New Zealand and Australian: 39,500 nates; last year, 47,000 crates. Canadian: 182.000 boxes; last year, 168,300 boxes. Cheese sales, f.0.b., have been made for lip to the end of December make at 9 9-16 d, and for whole season at 9ld. LONDON MEAT MARKET. Sunday The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended September 27, from the Argentine and Uruguay.—2so,o6o quarters of chilled beef and 3028 quarters frozen beef; 83,200 carcases of frozen mutton and 92,906 car eases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to (he Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows: 72,338 quarters of frozen beef, 13,141 car cases of frozen mutton, and 1270 carcases of frozen lamb.
