WIRELESS EXPERIMENT
BROADCAST FROM AMERICA. RELAYING TO BRITAIN. British Wireless. RUGBY, Aug. 10. Experiments will shortly be made by the engineers ol' the British Broadcasting Corporation in association with the engineers of the National Broadcasting Company of America, with the object of relaying an American programme to British listeners by a new method. Fading has hitherto been one of the chief obstacles to successful broadcasting across the Atlantic, but it is now hoped that a remedy for this will be found.
