INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
NORTH CANADIAN INDIANS. HEAVY DEATH-ROLL REPORTED. Australian arid N.Z. Press Association. (Received August 17, 8.25 p.m.) OTTAWA. Aug. 10. A message from Edmonton, Alberta, says an epidemic of influenza is raging among the Indian population in the Mackenzie River district in the far north. It is reported that there have been 275 deaths in two weeks.
