Billio had decided that ho would introduce/himself to the prettiest girl at tne dance. His friends tried to persuade him that this would he very rude, but Billie was not put off by this. " Pardon mo," lie said, having crossed over to the lady in question, "but- I'm sure we've met before somewhere, though I can't quite remember where?" " Perhaps it's just as well," came the freezing retort, and Billie squirmed beneath her icy glance. "I am the woman who stood up in the train for three miles while you read your paper this evening!"
