NEW LOVES.
The other day my daddy bought & brand new motor car. (The old one's not worn out yet, but you know what daddies are!) I asked him what would happen to the old car, and was told That when the fine new car came home, the old one would bo sold. I can't help beinsr sorry for tho poor old car, you know, 'Cos just when its got used to us, and likes us, it must go. I went and spoke to it to-day, and patted all its wheels. It looked so sad and sorrowful, and I know how it feels! For, yesterday, my mummy had a quite new baby boy, And every one made such a fuss, they almost burst with joy. But how can I be glad about the baby, cos' yon see, I'm 'fraid they'll sell tho old one now, and that, of course, is Me!
