CORPORATION NOTIOfiS. (-1 I T Y OF AUCKLAND. THE'LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1920. PROPOSED LOANS FOR: (a) £7500 lor Installation of Filtration and Sterilisation Plants nt the Faruell and Shelly Beach Baths, and the extension o£ tho Intake Pipo at the Hobson Street Baths, And—(h) £22,500 fpr the Erection of Swimming Baths at Point Chevalier, including Installation of Filtration and Sterilisation Plants. The Body Corporate, called the Mayor. Councillors and Citizens of the City of Auckland, and the Auckland City Council, hereby gives notice, in pursuance of Section 10, of the above-mentioned Act:— 1. That the purposes for wliich the loans are required are (a) For the installation of Filtration and Sterilisation Plants at the Parnell and Shelly Beacii Bathß, and the extension of the ilutako Pipe at the Hobson Street Baths, and—(b) For the erection of Swimjning Baths at Point Chevalier, includiug installation of Filtration and Sterilisation Plants. 2. That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of the ordinary revenue of the City, proposes to borrow sums, not exceeding £7500 and £22,500, respectively. 3. That fine proposed security for the repayment of such loans shall be special rates of 5-G4th and l-6th of one penny in the £ respectively upon the annual value of all rateable properly in the City of Auckland. ?. That the Auckland City Council proposes to make such loans repayable at the end of 15 years and 25 years respectively from, the date of issue, and proposes to make provision fc the payment of a Sinking Fund of not less than £4 12s 6d per centum per j annum and £2 per annum respectively. 5 That the Auckland City Council propose? to pay out of such loans such cost 3, charges a,nd expenses n« the Auckland City Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loans, hut not the interest or sinking fund thereon for the first year.
