NOTES FROM WAHAROA.
DRIED MILK FACTORY. IMPROVING SCHOOL GROUNDS. [BY TELEGRAM. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 3 WAHAROA, Friday. At a meeting of suppliers to tha Waharoa dried milk factory Mr. F. E. Hughes outlined the circumstances which led to the decision to secure a confer* ence of committeemen of the suppliers to the Te Awamutu, Waitoa and Waharoa dried milk factories. The meeting decided to recommend that the operation, 1 } of the local factory be continued in tb'a direction of powder manufacture. The Waharoa school committee recently raised £2O by means of a social function. The money will be used to improve tho school grounds and library. The school committee has been advised of the appointment of a permanent school teacher as from September 1.
