AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE WIDE RANGE OF BUSINESS* Buyers' interests took a wide range on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, when very fair business resulted. There was little variation in offers for Government securities, holders quoting sparingly. In commercial debentures Hamilton Theatres, 8 per cent., changed hands at £IOO, while Glaxos, selling at £9l, had the first sale since November, when £9O was paid.

Tho banking and insurance sections were unusually quiet, and no business passed. In gas Aucklands wore available at last week's current price of 22s sd, buyers 22s 4d. In breweries Staples wore done at 365, a penny under tho price given at the preceding sale two months ago.

In miscellaneous Colonial Sugars improved to sell at £59 10s, against £SB 17s 6d last week. The debenture stock of Milne and Choyce changed hands at 24s 6d, an advance of 3d on tho recent level. Morris Hedstroms were done at 20s 9d, against 21s 6d at tho previous sale in June. Robinson's Ice Creams had sale at the ruling rato of 22s 6d, while Wilsons Cements appreciated threepence on last week's figure, to change hands at 38s 3d. In mining Ohinomuns were done at 7s 3d, the current rate, while Waihis had two saleß at 12s against last week's closing rato of 13s. The following sales took place Hamilton Theatre, 8 per cent, debentures, £100; Glaxo debentures, £9l; Staples' Breweries, 365; Colonial Sugar, £59 10s; Milne and Choyce, debenture stock, 24s 6d; Morris. Hedstrom, 20s 9d; Robinson Ice Cream, 22s 6d; Wilsons Cement, 38s 3d; Ohinemuri Gold and Silver, 7s 3d; Waihi, 12s 10i,d.
