WEDDINGS.

A marriage of interest to a wide circle of friends was celebrated in St. Mary's Cathedral yesterday afternoon when Miss Nancy Grace Wilson, youngest daughter of' Mrs. Wilson, of Market Road, Epsom, and of the late Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M., was married to the Rev. Noel Francis Edward Robertshawe, vicar of St. George's Church, Thames, younger son of Mrs. Robertshawe, of Thames, and of the late Rev. Edward Robertshawe, of Dannevirke. The ceremony was performed by Archb}shop Averill, assisted by Canon Fercival James and the Rev. J. L. Litt. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. R. A. Wilson, of Masterton, wore an ankle-length-frock of ivory georgette mounted over silver tissue, panelled with silver lace and with sprays of orange blossom falling down one side, of the skirt from waist-line to hem. The veil, which formed a train, was hand-embroid-ered with tiger lilies, and was held in place with a circlet of orange blossoms. She . carried a shower bouquet of white roses, carnations, sweet peas, and maidenhair fern, fastened with-silver ribbons. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Phyllis Wilson, sister of the bride, and Miss Marion Forde. The former wore a frock of hydrangea blue georgette with a large petalled shoulder flower, aind the latter wore brier rose pink georgette. The frocks were made with low waist lines and bouffant skirts, and they both wore beige felt hats trimmed with touches of pink and blue. Their bouquets were of irises, delphiniums, and roses. Mr. A. H. Hunt was best man and Mr. Nigel Wilson groomsman. Following the ceremony a largely-attended reception was held by Mrs. Wilson in St. George's Hall, Epsom, at which guests were present from Thames and various other parts of New Zealand. Mrs. Wilson wore a frock of black ring velvet and a black crinoline hat, and the bridegroom's mother was in black marocain with a black hat and fur coat.

Wilson, of Elgin Street, Grey Lynn, was married to Mr. James Fairweather, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Fairweather, of Fourth Avenue, Mount Albert. The Rev. Dr. Buxton officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of Naples blue cloth with a flared skirt, and a small, tight-fitting blue felt hat. She carried an ivory-bound Prayer Book. Miss Freda Fairweather was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of aquamarine blue repp, made with a knife-pleated bodice and finished at the waist with smocking. She wore a small beige silk hat and also carried an ivory-bound Prayer Book. Mr. George Fitnpatrick attended the bridegroom as best man.

At Wesleyan Church, Dominion Road, on July 19, the marriage was celebrated between Martha, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frost, of Pongakawa, Bay of Plenty, and Ralph, second son of the late Steven and Mrs. Mary Cox, of Templemore, County Tipperary, Ireland. The Rev. J. Rowe officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was gowned in silver lace tissue over ivory silk, with pearl trimmings. The long embroidered veil was held in place with pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of snowdrops, narcissi and roses, with sprays of maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Joan Paul, of Templemorp, Ireland, who wore a frock of old rose crepe de chine, with hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of white and pink spring flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. D. Frost, brother of the bride.

The marriage of Miss Olivia Mary (Olive) McKibbin, youngest daughter of Mrs. G. H. Katterns, of John Street, Ponsonby, to Mr. James Gussey, second son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Gussey, of Grey Lynn, was celebrated at All Saints' Church yesterday afternoon. The Rev. W. W. Averill performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her stepfather, Mr. G. H. Katterns, wore a frock of ivory satin beaute with an uneven scalloped hem of silver

lace and a spray of silver flowers and orange blossom on one shoulder. Her tulle veil formed a train and was caught round the head with a chaplet o |r orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Miss Alice McKibbin, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of eau de nil georgette with georgette flounces on the skirt, through which showed panels of gold lace. Her head-dress was of green tulle with „a rosette at one side, and she carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mr. George Gussey was best man.

The wedding was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, recently of Enid Nellie, only daughter of Mrs. Moult, of Stanley Bay, and the late Mr. N. S. Moult, late of Derbyshire, England, and Mr. George Eric Wight, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Wight, Remuera. The bride, who was given away by her mother, wore a \ ictorian gown of ivory taffeta, made with an uneven scalloped hem. Her veil was arranged like a Spanish mantilla, and formed a train, which was carried by the nephew of the bridegroom, Teddy Giitney. She carried a muff of white and green orchids. Miss Marie Jones and Miss Kathleen Brooks attended as bridesmaids, wearing frocks of gold-shot taffeta, with powder-blue felt hats and shoulder posies of orchids. They carried powder-blue Prayer Books. The Rev. H B Wingfield performed the ceremony. Mr J Eraser attended the bridegroom as best -man, and Mr. H. Barry as groomsman.

The marriage took place on Saturday afternoon, July 21, of Miss Dorothy Hicatt. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hieatt', Valley Road, Glen Eden,_ to Mr. Harry Morris Wattam, sixth son of Mr. and Mrs. Wattam, Grand Avenue, Remuera. The service took places at the Glen Eden Methodist Church. Entering tho church on the arm of her father, the bride wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine, trimmed with silver lace, and carried a bouquet of pale pink gladiolas, white roses, snowdrops, and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Hazel Hieatt, sister of the bride, wore apple-green crepe de chine, trimmed with cream lace, and carried a boflquet of daffodils, poppies, and maidenhair fern. Two little flower girls, Betty Scarborough, in shell pink georgette trimmed with rosebuds, and Enid Geary, in powder blue georgette, were also in attendance carrying baskets of spring flowers. The Rev. J. Wrigley, of Henderson, performed the ceremony, and Mr. L. Wattam played the "Bridal March." Mr. Harold Wattam was best man.
