June 98 The leader of the Socialists, Dr. Hermann Mueller, has submitted to President Hindenburg the following Cabinet of personalities until they are replaced by a party Coalition:— Chancellor.—Dr Mueller. Interior.—Herr Severing (Socialist). Finance.—Dr. Hilferding (Socialist). Communications.—Herr Geheimrat von Guerard (Centre Party). Foreign Affairs.—Herr Stresemann (German People's Party). Economics. —Dr. Curtius (German People's Party). Defence. —General Groener (no party). Agriculture.—Herr Dietrich (Democrat). Labour. —Herr Wissell (Socialist). Justice.—Herr Hock (Democrat). All except Herr von Guerard have had previous Ministerial experience.
