Norgate. "The Female of the Species" ("Sapper"), "Again Saunders" (Edgar Wallace), "The Secret of the Creek" (Victor Bridges), "Eliza for Common" (0. Douglas) are among Hodder and Stoughton's forthcoming fiction. Bernard Shaw's long-expected book, "The Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism and Capitalism," was due to be published by Constable on June 1. It will be found to be G-B.S.'s declaration of faith, political, social and ethical.

An unusual kind of anthology is promised in "Novelists on Novels," edited by R. Brimley Johnson (Noel Douglas). It is a collection of the writings of novelists between the years 1660 and 1860 upon the subject of the structure and purpose of the novel.
