WEDDING.

The wedding took place in St. Mark's Church, Remuera, on Wednesday evening of Phyllis Gloria, youngest daughter of Mrs.. E. M. Stringer, of Chrfstchurch, to Frederick Alexander, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S- J Lamb, Pencarrow Avenue, Moun Eden, Auckland, The Rev. G. C. Cruickshank performed the ceremony, and the church had 'been artistically decorated with hydrangeas, arum lilies and foliage. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. Norman Stringer, wore a frock of ivory taffetas made in Early Victorian style. The skirt was of tiny frills edged with silver lace, and she wore a Russian head-dress of silver lace from which fell the long frills of her tulle veil, also edged with silver lace. A sheaf of orchids, hyacinths and other flowers was carried. The bridesmaids, Miss Elsie Lock, of Bayswater, and Miss Emma Lamb, sister of the bridegroom, wore frocks of horizon blue taffetas and silver lace, made in bouffant fashion and finished with an irregular hem. They wore head-dresses of pleated talle and carried bouquets of pale pink flowers, fastened with tulle streamers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Keith Lamb, and Mr W Pobson.
