AUCKLAND AERO CLUB.
LARGE NUMBER OF MEMBERS. WOMEN TO LEARN FLYING. A very satisfactory beginning has been made by the Auckland Aero Club. All preliminary work has been completed and the club is waiting for the Government to provide suitable machines. The club hns a total membership of over 130, and 31 members, including two women, have applied for instruction in aviation. A certificate of incorporation has also been obtained. Many of the club's activities are to be centred at a club room which has been furnished on the first floor of the Lister Building, Victoria Street. It is proposed shortly to commence a series of lectures at the club-room, and members are to have expert tuition and advico on flying questions.
