YOUNG GIRL'S SUICIDE.
" PUNISHING " SWEETHEART. "There must have been enough strychnine in the bottle to kill 200 people, and, if the girl took a third of it, the dose was so powerful that nothing could have saved her," a doctor said, at tho inquest at Hobart recently on Oliva Eileen McKay, aged 17 years, who committed suicide at her home. The mother stated that the girl had been rather depressed, as her sweetheart, who had promised to meet her, had not kept the appointment. The girl was disappointed, and said that she would "punish him." A finding of suicido was returned.,
