SCHOOLS IN COUNTRY.
EXTENSION AT RAGLAN. BETTER TEACHING FACILITIES. The Auckland Education Board has been notified by the Education Department that a grant has been approved for enlarging the Raglan school, which will be remodelled to afford better teaching facilities. More accommodation for pupils will be provided, while as a result of the alterations each teacher and class wi'l have a separate room.
ADDITIONS AT WAITAKARURU. GRANT FOR WORK APPROVED. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] WAITAKARURU, Monday. The chairman cf the Waitakaruru School Committee, Mr. C. W. Harris, has been advised by the Auckland Education Board that a grant has been approved for the erection of additional accommodation at tho Waitakaruru school. This has been made necessary' by a substantial increase in the number of pupils.
