FORGERY ADMITTED.
FORMER SOLICITOR CHARGED Appearing in the Police Court yesterday on remand, John Henry Victor Mansill. aged 50, formerly a solicitor practising in Auckland, was charged with forging a memorandum of mortgage on a property in Auckland for £6OO. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Mansill is at serving a Supreme Court sentence of four years' reformative detention for theft of moneys.
