Ashe, of Los Angeles, is a through passenger to Sydney by the Niagara. He will take part in the" Eucharist ic Congress in Sydney. Colonel T. D. Young, chief veterinary inspector in London, arrived in Auckland vesterday after an extensive tour of New Zealand." He will leave for Australia by the Niagara to-day. Mr. J. Mr. Sessions, who was organist at the American Church in Paris for three years, is on a holiday tour, and after visiting Australia, will proceed to England and the Continent. Mr. H. Gillett, of London, Mr. M. D'Alroy, of New York, Mr. H. Ronge and Mr. C. Lefevre, of Paris, Mr. M. D. Richards and Mr. W. Parkhurst, of Sydney, Mr. G. W. Linch and Mr. W. Sir James Gtinson returned by the Niagara yesterday after having been away for 17 months on a tour of Great Britain and the Continent of Europe. Lady Gunson and the members of the family will remain in England indefinitely. Sir James will be given - a welcome home luncheon by tho members of the Pacific Club to-day at one o'clock, and on Thursday he wiil be welcomed by the Chamber of Com-' merce at luncheon. He was met yesterday hv Mr. 11. T. Merritt, president of the chamber, and members of the council.
