SIXTY CASES IN HOSPITAL. SCENE IN SERBIAN PARLIAMENT. Australian Press Association—United {service BELGRADE, May 31. Sixty injured persons were taken to hospital as a result of yesterday's anti-Italian riots in Belgrade. Two cases proved fatal. Nine policemen were injured. Seventeen students and 43 other persons were arrested. The damage done is estimated at £40,000. At to-aay's sitting of Parliament the Opposition demanded a debate on the riots. This the Government refused, whereupon members of the Opposition •banged their, desks for an hour, enforcing a suspension. ot the sitting. It is understood that the Government, in replying to Italy's demand for compensation, will counter-claim for the losses of Yugoslavians in Italy.
