ASSOCIATION FORMED. A number of pig-breeders in the neighbourhood of Auckland have formed a suburban pig-breeders' association, following a recent meeting held in Mount" Roskili, The following officers have been' elected : —President, Mr. C. E. Hills; committee, Messrs. G. Vrckers, J. Patterson, M. Murphv_ and V. Thomas; honorary secre-tary,-Mr. G. Pengelly; honorary treasurer, Mr. H. Kennedy. HAMILTON BREEDERS. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Friday. ' The iirst annual meeting of the Auckland provincial branch of the New Zealand Pig Breeders' Association was held in Hamilton yesterday, Mr. E. Chilcott presiding. The president reported that the establishment of the branch had been well justified and that much useful work had been done during tbe year. The membership stood at 120. Meetings had been held at Hamilton and Pukekohe, and it was suggested that meetings be held at Auckland, Whangarei and Tauranga.
