NOTES FROM TE PUKE.
[EY TELEGRAPH. —O"VN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE PUKE, Friday. A commission of the Bay of Plenty Presbytery made an official visit to Te Puke last evening and met the office bearers and members of the congregation. The Rev. Mr. Harris, of Whakatane, presided. The commission expressed its satisfaction with the work carried on by the Presbyterians in the To Puke district. Several matters of local interest were discussed. The annual smoke concert of the Te Puke Chamber of Commerce Was held last evening,.Mr H. 0. Coonov presiding over an attendance of about 40. Among those present was Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P.
