COROMANDEL HOSPITAL.
PROPOSED LIGHTING SCHEME.| RECIPROCITY WITH THAMES, j [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] COROMANDEL, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Coromandel Hospital Board correspondence was received from the Health Department on the lighting scheme. The Director-General stated that he would be prepared to concider, and probably sanction, a scheme to ■ cost cot more than £450. It was resolved that the chairman and clerk investigate the two proposed schemes and report to the board without delay. The County Council wrote approving the hospital levy. The Thames Hospital Boa:.'d intimated it was not agreeable to the renewing of the present reciprocal arrangement,, but would consider a fresh proposal. It was decided that the Thames Board be asked to agree to the reciprocal treatment of patients for 5s a day.
