WEDDING.
A quiet wedding was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Gore, recently, when Ellon Elizabeth, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Given, of Waiuku, Auckland, was married to Mr. Thomas Bullcr Johnston, of Invercargill (late of Thames). The officiating minister was the Rev. Paddison. The bride, who was given away.by her father, wore a French frock embroidered with crystal beads. Her tulle veil, which formed a train, was held in place by a coronet of orango blossom, and wa« embroidered in wedding bells. Tho bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Given, cousin of the bride, woro a Madonna blue crepe do chine frock with over-skirt of deep chenille fringe, and bluo tulle bandeau with posy and silver leaves. Both carried shower bouquets of bronze and lemon chrysanthemums. Mr. William Given, cousin <}f the bride, attended the groom.
