ROYAL AUCKLAND CHOIR.
The Town Hall to-morrow evening will b'a the scene of the opening concert for the 1928 season of the Royal Auckland Choir, when the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fcrgusson, will be present. The well-known tenor singer, Mr. Hubert Carter, will be the leading soloist, rendering "Love's Secret," "I Am Fate," "D'une Prison," "La Partida," "Air de Jean," and "Heavenly Aida." Miss Phyllis Hazel will give a solo in addition to a duet with Mr. Frank C. Sutherland. The choir numbers will include several innovations, both us regards arrangement and selection. Mr. Edgar Randall will play organ solos besides accompanying the choir in two part songs.
