HUNTLY DRUIDS' BALL.
The ball held under the auspices of the Huntly Druids' Lodge took place in the Town Hall on Friday evening and proved a great success. The hall had been tastefully decorated, and the secretary, Mr. J. Hanley, assisted by a committee, had made excellent arrangements for the Bvecing. Mr. J. Luke and Mr. H. Tickle were masters of ceremony and the music supplied by the Regent Orchestra, of Hamilton, left nothing to be desired. The judges, Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Gregory and Miss Denz, of Hamilton, awarded the prize as belle of the ball to Miss N. Baker. Mr. W. Lee Martin, M.P., with Mrs. Martin, led the grand march. Among those present were: Mrs. W. Lee Martin, who wore ivory bengaline silk and oriental embroidery; Mrs. J. Hanley, navy blue silk repp; Airs. J. Carlton (Auckland), black sequin frock and black shawl; Mrs. Shepherd, crimson velvet; Mrs. T. Holt, rayon rose silk trimmed with lace; Miss M. Hollow, jade green and gold frock; Miss E. Leather, rose taffeta with gold lace; Miss Tickle, green silk; Miss D. Sheeran, peach crepe de chine and silver trimming; Miss K. SneH, grey crept? de chine; Miss I. Hill, pink georgette with shot ribbon; Miss Q, O'Sullivan, apricot taffeta; Miss D. Burgess, black taffeta and scarlet shawl; Miss E. Barclay, cherry georgette; Miss K. Welch (Ohinewai), pink taffeta and silver lace; Miss P. Hughes, maize crepe ce chine trimmed with mauve; Miss D. Harris, mauve crepe do chine and silver trimming; Miss K. Alder, blue crepe de chiae with silver trimming; Miss M. Melling, mauve crepo de chine trimmed with gold; Miss E. Harris (Hamilton), gold tissue trimmed with fur; Miss B.
