She is an ex-British steamer nf 6140 tons };nd was built at Birkenhead by Cammell. Laird and Company, Ltd., m 1917. She was formerly called the War Cypress. Spedding Ltd. have received advice that the Government's new motor-ship Maui j Pomare, en route from England, via Apia, Bailed from Niue Inland on Friday nignt in continuation of her voyage to Wellington. THE WEST CARMONA. The American steamer West Carmona is to sail for Wellington and Dunedin on Friday in continuation of her Voyage from Pacific Coast ports. THE OMANA. The Lamb steamer Omana is due from Wanganui to-night. She will berth at Central Wharf to load timber for Australia. WARSHIPS UNDOCIvED. The warships Veronica and Laburnum came out of dock yesterday morning and berthed at Devonport to continue refitting. They are to sail on a cruise to the South Sea Islands early next month. . . f , MINERIC FROM JAVA.. Advice received by Spedding. Ltd.. states tho W T eir Line steamer Mineric is loading raw sugar at Java for Auckland. Her departure from Java is expected at an early date. THE PAUA. The Shell Company's coastal motor-tanker Paua is due from Wellington at mid-day to-day with oil, and will unload at Western Wharf. After discharge the vessel will return to Wellington. ARAWA LEAVES LONDON. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received advice that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Arawa sailed from London for Auckland and Wellington on May 22. She is due at Auckland on July 2. TEKOA AT COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tekoa is reported to have reached Colon from London last Saturday. The vessel is en route to Suva, Auckland and Wellington. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on June 16. WAIOTAPU REPORTS. W r irelesß advice from the Union Company's transpacific steamer Waiotapu states she expects to reach Auckland on Friday. The vessel is from San Pedro, via Papeete. She has case oil and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. HERMINIUS AT LONDON. Cable advico states the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Herminius reached London from New Zealand last Sunday. She sailed from Wellington on April 17 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Pana na, WAIPAHI DUE TO-MORROW. The Union Company's Island steamer 'Waipahi has reported by wireless that she will arrive from Rarotonga to-morrow morning. The vessel has a cargo of oranges, the first fruit from the Cook Islands this season. POOLTA REPORTS. The Union Company's steamer Poolta will arrive from Australian ports on Thursday morning, according to her wireless advice. She is bringing a full cargo of hardwood from Grafton, Port Stephens and Newcastle for discharge at Auckland., Wellington, Timaru and Greymouth. THE GAMBIA RIVER. Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., have received advice that the steamer Gambia River was despatched from Makatea Island on May 22 with phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. She will iinload about 4000 tons at Auckland. She is expected to arrive about next Sunday. RICHARDSON STEAMERS. The Richardson steamer Mako arrived from Portland yesterday morning and berthed at Central Wharf. She is to BB.il at noon to-day for East Coast bays, INapier and Wairoa. The Awahou is to sail at five o'clock this evening for Hicks Bay, Tokomartt Bay and Gisborne. The Pukeko went into dock yesterday morning for cleaning and painting. She will be undocked this morning. YOSERIC DUE AT DAYBREAK. The Weir Line steamer Ypseric haß reported by wireless that she will arrive from Ocean Island at daybreak to-day. She has a full cargo of phosphates, which will t-e unloaded at King's Wharf. Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd.. are the local a.jents. MATAKANA DUE AT 8 A.M. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana is due from Dunedin ut eight o'clock this morning to load refrigerated and genera! cargo for Great Britain. She will berth at Prince's Wharf. On Thursday the vessel will sail for Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington to complete loading. She is to be despatched from Wellington on June. 16 for London, Avotimouth, Glasgow and Liverpool.
