MORE PLAYING FIELDS.
MOVEMENT IN ENGLAND. SUBSCRIPTIONS FORTHCOMING. Britisli Wireless. RUGBY, May 26. A movement started by the National Playing Fields Association to provide outdoor recreation facilities in thickly-popu-lated areas has resulted in voluntary gifts of £330,000 and 400 acres of land. The Ministry of Health has sanctioned loans by local authorities amounting to £300,000 for the acquisition of a further area of 1300 acres to be used as playing fields.
