SIR DOUGLAS MAWSON.
RECOGNITION IN GERMANY. Australian Press Association—United Service BERLIN. May 25. The German Geographical Society has bestowed the Nachtigall gold medal upon Sir Douglas Mawson in recognition of his exploration in the Antarctic. Sir Douglas recently lectured on this work at the centenary celebrations of the society.
