Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received May 27, 5.5 p.m.) WINNIPEG. May 26. Wheat producers representing nine countries, including Australia and New Zealand, have signified their intention of attending a meeting of the members of the world wheat pool at Regina on June 6. " Co-operation under the Southern Cross' is the title of an address to be given by Mr. Charles Judd, of the Victoria wheat pool. EXPORT CREDITS SCHEME. INQUIRY INTO SYSTEM. British Wireless. RUGBY. May 25. The future of the credits scheme, under which no now business can be accepted after September of next year unless Parliament should in the meantime decide otherwise, is likely to be considered by a departmental committee. Applications for credits under the scheme have increased so greatly that the question whether the voluntary advisory committee should be relieved of some of its duties is likely to be considered, as well as the whole question whether the export credits scheme would not now be carried out satisfactorily by private enterprise. It is anticipated that the committee will include representatives of the business, banking, and insurance interests that have made use of the system. DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES. LONDON MARKET QUIET. W. G. Paviour Smith has been advised as follows by his London principals, the Anglo-Continental Produce Company, under date, May 25:—Butter, 168s; market quiet. Cheese, 96s to 975; market quiet. A. H. Turnbull and Company have received the following cablegram from W. Weddel and Company, Limited, London, dated May 25:—Butter: Danish, 171s to 1725; New Zealand, nnsalted, 168s to 1765; salted, 166s to 170s; market quiet. Cheese: New Zealand. white and coloured, 96s to 975, market steady; Canadian, white, 112s to 114s; coloured, 108s to 110s. Leonard and Son, Limited, received a cablegram from A. C. Rowson, London, stating the butter market is slow at 168s. The cheese market is also slow at 965. The New York market price is 44£ cents per lb. (equivalent to Is 2§d, f.0.b., New Zealand ports). Wheat.—May, 1 dollar, cents per bushel; July, 1 dollar 50g cents; September, 1 dollar 51 cents. PRICES AT HOROTIU. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report:—We held a clearing sale on Friday in conjunction with Messrs. Dalgety and Company, at Horotiu. on account of Mr. Geo. Hall, when there was a large attendance. All live and dead stock sold under good competition. The Shorthorn dairy herd was in splendid condition and prices ranged from £7 10s to £ll 15a: 2-year-old Shorthorn heifers in calf made £6 10s to .£8 15s; yearling Shorthorn heifers, £2 6a; fat cows, £9 2s 6d; forward cows, £6 10s; porkers. £1 17s; breeding sows, £2 10s to £3 7s 6d: sows and litters, £4 2s 6d to £4 15s; implements and sundries at satisfactory prices.
