Public Notice is hereby given that the following Resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council convened lor that purpose and held on the 24th day of May, 1928. and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council to be held on THURSDAY, thq 21st day of June. 1928, at 1.45 p.m., viz.:— "In pursuance and exercise of the power? vested in it by Section 9 of 'The Auckland City Empowering Act, 1913,' and 'The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,' and its amendments and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that a Special Rate of One Shilling and Threepence (Is 3d) in the pound ster ling, on all ratable property in the City of Auckland (excluding that portion thereof formerly comprising the OraKei Road District) be and the same is hereby made as an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the interest, sinking fund and other charges in connection with all loans that had, up to the date hereof, been raised by The Auckland City Council, The Archhill Road Board. The Parnell Borough Council, The Grey Lynn Borough Council, The Remuera Road Board, The Eden Terrace Road Board. The Epsom Road Board, The Point Chevalier Road Board.
