POLICE COURT NEWS.
PROBATION FOR SALESMAN. Convicted on a charge of receiving socks, pull overs and scarves valued at £4 ss, the property of a city firm, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, Bernard Charles Baker, aged 27, a salesman, who appeared in the Police Court on Saturday, was placed on probation for two years. "You are a yoyng man and I will give you another chance," said Mr. F. K. Hont, S.M., in giving his decision. Accused was ordered to make restitution.
