DRAINAGE BOARD.
PROPOSED LOAN OF £25,000. The borrowing of a sum of £25,000 is contemplated by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, which will meet on Wednesday to consider the passing of a special order to that effect. The purposes of the loan include tho erection of a at Point Chevalier, the completion of payments in connection with the branch sewer to drain additional areas in the One Tree* Hill road district and tho extension of branch sewer No. 8 along Meola Creek from the Mount Albert Grammar School to the Mount Eden Borough boundary. This extension is designed to serve portions of the Mount Albert, Mount Eden and Mount Roskill districts, the last-named of which is about -to be incorporated in the drainage district.
