SCOTTISH PAGEANT.
GLASGOW PREPARATIONS. THOUSANDS TO TAKE PART. LONDON. May 19. A stirring pageant is to be presented in Olasgow from June 23 to Juno J9, entitled "The Story ol the West," which the Australian-Scot tourists will arrive in time to witness. Seven thousand people, including 500 pipers—the largest assemblage of the latter ever seen or heard —will participate. The difficulty is in supplying kilts, which are scarce and expensive. This has given an opportunity for a competition which is familiar at Scottish gatherings—"The best Scotsman dressed at his own expense." Thousands of business girls avill ta^ke
