AEROPLANE FLIGHT.
THE MOTH AT TE KUITI. ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION. [by telegraph.—press association.] TE KUITI, Tuesday. The flight by Mr. Douglas Mill frorp Auckland to To Kuiti, in his Moth machine, was made to-day, a successful landing being effected on Mr. Barker's farm at Te Kumi. The aeroplane left Auckland at 2.7 p.m. and landed at about 3.50 p.m. Mr. Mill was accompanied on his flight by Mr. H. T. Morton, solicitor, of Te Kuiti, and the aeroplane was met on arrival by tho local committee, which handled the arrangements in connection with the flight and also an enthusiastic gathering of spectators. The Mayor, Mr. W. ,J. Broadfoot, in a brief address, in which he expressed pleasure at the success of the flight, made reference to the natural geographical location of To Kuiti, which was advantageously situated for the purposes of aviation. Mr. Mill will make the return journey to-day, accompanied by Mr. A. C. Lsvington, a resident of Te Kuiti.
