WEDDINGS.

At St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, England, on April 18, the marriage was celebrated of Miss Joan Kathleen Tully, only child of Mrs. C. J. Tally, of Wellington, New Zealand, and the late C. J. Tully, to Mr. Vere Arbuthnot Arnold, son of the Rev. H. A. Arnold, Rector of Walsingham, County Durham end Mrs. Arnold. Bishop Hook, Suffragan Bishop of Kingston, uncle of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. H. A. Arnold and the Rev. A. Duncan Jones, vicar of St. Paul's. In attendance upon the bride were Mrs. Guy S-ratton, matron-of-honour, and four bridesmaids, Miss Rewa Weston, Miss Joan Arncld, Miss Jean Johnston and Miss Cecily Fitzherbert. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. H. S. G. Gilmer, of Wellington, New Zealand, as best man, and Mr. W. Ross-Skinner. Mr. J. Bateson. Mr. R. Inglis and Mr. Colin Grant, groomsmen. St. Patrick's Cathedral was the scene of the wedding yesterday afternoon of Miss Sophie May Melville, third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melville, of Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn, to Mr. Geoffrey Dixon O'Leary, only son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Parsons O'Leary, of Northcote. The Rev. Dr. Buxton performed the ceremony and Mr. H. Hiscocks presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a frock of ivory georgette trimmed with diamante. A draping of georgette at the side was canght at the waist by a' diamante buckle and was surrounded by sprays of silver leaves. Her embroidered tulle veil formed a long train and was caught round the head with a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bonquet of white flowers. Miss Cleo Melville and Miss Rona Jones were bridesmaids, and wore frocks of shell pink and primrose georgette, respectively, with deep hems of taffeta above which were appliqued flowers. Their head-dresses were of tulle and gold tissue and they carried bouquets of mauve and white flowers. Mr. Oliver Honeycombe attended the bridegroom as best man and Mr. J. Melville was groomsman. On Friday last, at St. Mark's Church, Te Aroha, the marriage was celebrated of Miss Elayne M. Burton, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Burton, of Te Aroha, to Mr. Robert A. Falla, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Falla., of Devonport. The Reverend R. L, Connolly officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin and silver lace over pale pink. Her embroidered tulle veil, which formed a train, was held in place by a circlet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of white and pink roses. * Her sister, Mrs. Law, attended as matron-of-honour, and wore a frock of shell pink georgette with diamante trimmings. Her hat was of green georgette with pink roses. Miss Nell Falla, sister of the bride~gr°om, was also in attendance and wore a deeper shade of pink georgette, with head-dress of silver lame and rose tulle. Both carried shower bouquets of pink roses and chrysanthemums. Little Miss Hester Nicholls was flower-girl and wore a petal frock of green georgette trimmed with rosebuds and silver ribbon. She carried a silver basket of pink flowers and maidenhair. Mr. C. Noble, of Wellington, was best man, and Mr. E. Hamer groomsman.
