SHIPWRECK RELIEF FUND.
NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY. AMOUNT IN HAND OF £! 3,000. [BY TELECRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The funds of the New Zealand Shipwreck Relief Society amount to £13.003, and the surplus last year was £IOO7. The Union Company's contribution to the funds was £473. The president, Sir William Sim, commented at the annual meeting on the happy fact that there had been no disaster for many years, which had enabled a large fund to be built up. Only £63 had been paid out during the year. In answer to the appeal of Captain Attwood, for help for a fisherman who lost his boat in a gale, £lO was voted.
