Ladies and Gentlemen: I desire to intimate that I am a Candidate for the Vacancy on the Board of Directors caused by the death of my brother, the late R. J. Entrican. I am one of the Founders of the Society, and from its inception have taken an active part in furthering its interests, every effort made toward its progress and prosperity receiving my cordial support. As a successful business man, with over forty years' Mercantile and Commercial experience and with unlimited time at my disposal, I feel sure I can fill the position of Director to your satisfaction. I solicit your Voie and Influence, and if accorded same my efforts will be to show that your confidence has been fully justified. Yours Sincerely. JAMES C. ENTRICAN. AC. T. B. S. • C. T. B. S. ELECTION OF DIRECTORS. To Fellow Members: Once more I am soliciting your Votes, and. as an entirely new Director is now required, I trust you will record your Votes on my behalf, and thus suppoct the policy I advocate Among others, there are at least three reforms urgently required (1) Repayments of loans to be much SMALLER than at present, but spread over a longer period. (2) The costs attached to the raising of s a loan are too high, and should be REDUCED. (3) A member of the staff should be specially appointed to give INFORMATION. If you have never drawn a ballot or bought an appropriation, you will probably be unaware of the necessity of the reforms advocated, but as one who has bought appropriations in the Ist, 4th, Bth, lftb and 13th Groups (I have never yet been fortunate enough to have a draw). I can assure you there is great need for reforms on the lines I mention. I claim to have a good knowledge of Building Society matters and, having retired from my position as Supervisor of Manual Training to the Wellington Education Board, I have the requisite time at my disposal. I ask for your Votes with every confidence, and if elected I will endeavour to look after your interests to the best of my ability. I am. Yours Faithfully. EDWIN HOWE. PUBLIC TYPISTS. TVTISS R.
